Since I first read (and silently shake-laughed to) Lisa Hanawalt's illustrated review of War Horse, I have been waiting for her new book, My Dirty Dumb Eyes, with bated breath (and I wasn't even a horse girl). Themes among the collection of drawings include animals, sex and animal sex. One audience member got straight to the point and said, "Talk about your obsession with animals."
I like 'em a whole lot, I've liked 'em my whole life, and I think about 'em.
"Are you a vegetarian or vegan?"
No. I eat a lot of meat, actually... I guess I like [animals] so much I want them inside me.
