"Snark" communities analyze the books into harsh oblivion, Ann M. Martin has over 12k likes on Facebook, and people are still speculating where the sitters are today.

But the BSC's biggest impact can be seen, surprisingly, in fashion blogs. We've matched the club's members with their blogger progeny, and it's hard to deny: Stoneybrook style is still alive and well.

It's been over a decade since the last Baby-sitters Club installment came out, but the fandom lives on.

Leandra Medine (The Man Repeller) // Kristy Thomas (President)

Kristy's style is constantly scrutinized by fashion mavens like Claudia and Stacey for being frumpy and boyish — two qualities worth their weight in gold these days. Leandra Medine dresses for no man, and I think the head coach and founder of Kristy's Krushers would appreciate it. (Suck it, Bart Taylor.)

Susie Bubble (Style Bubble) // Claudia Kishi

Winning the title of Claudia's doppelganger is akin to being crowned Queen of the Fashion Bloggers, and after much gnashing of teeth, we chose Susie Bubble. (Pre-Rookie Tavi came close; more on her in a minute.) Susie is fearless when it comes to wearing crochet lobster bibs or YSL jodhpurs, and we know Claudia — who coined the phrase "Dibbly fresh" — would approve. After all, she did start the push-down sock trend.

Rhiannon Leifheit (Liebemarlene) // Mary Anne Spier (Secretary)

Before you start a comment war, know that we are referring to early Mary Anne — when she was still being stifled by her pleated-pants-wearing father. Mary Anne has a traditionally feminine style echoed by Rhaiannon Leifheit, whose laidback, Southern-focused blog is a refreshing change from the über-trendy norm. (Sidenote: Cam Geary = Ryan Gosling?)

Jane Aldridge (Sea of Shoes) // Stacey McGill (Treasurer)

Stacey's life was so perfect that Ann M. Martin had to keep throwing obstacles at her just to keep reader jealousy at bay. But Stacey was unstoppable. Diabetes? Foolproof diet! Parents' divorce? Weekends on the Upper East Side! Getting kicked out of the BSC? Major street cred! Jane Aldridge is the natural choice here: envy-inducing lifestyle, unfair gorgeousness.

Tavi Gevinson (Style Rookie) // Dawn Schafer (Alternate Officer)

Tavi is still young enough that her style is constantly evolving. Having passed through her kooky Claudia phase and Prada-centric Stacey phase, she's now rocking the "California casual" look that Dawn built her empire on. Dawn's life is essentially a Rookie photoshoot, complete with dreamy Instagram filters.

Garance Dore (Garance Dore) // Jessi Ramsey (Junior Member)

Jessi Ramsey is the best goddam dancer in Stoneybrook, who the hell are you? She wears her hair in a bun and considers leotards dressy. Garance, too, has a minimal, serious aesthetic. Though Jessi would never date someone as short as the Sartorialist. How would they waltz?

Claire Geist (De Lune) // Mallory Pike (Junior Member)

Claire Geist is really just Mallory in her late twenties, after Mallory ditches the braces and Keds and starts emulating the kids in her MFA writing workshop. She writes poetry on the G train and immediately untags herself from all the old BSC pictures Mary Anne posts on Facebook.
